Victoria (11) and Jim Glass (8) have four dogs: Hope (yorkie), Shawnie (yorkie), Toby (maltese) and Duke (shihtzu/maltese).  They have had multiple dogs in their home since birth and both actively participate in the care and training of the dogs. Hope and Shawnie are both rescues and both have passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test and are both therapy dogs!!!  Victoria attended every therapy dog training class with Hope and Shawnie. Hope is one of the inspirations for Victoria’s charity, Lucy’s Legacy and Hope For Animals (on Facebook).  Hope goes with Victoria to teach children about humane education and she is the focus of a humane education video Victoria made in 2016.  Shawnie visits children at a local domestic violence shelter. Victoria says that she likes helping to train the dogs every day and especially likes sharing Hope’s rescue and training story with children.  Jim says he likes to play with the dogs, especially his best buddy Toby!
